Porschia Kim Pedro fell in love with marketing while studying. Her love and curiosity grew as she furthered her Honours in Brand Management. While Porschia has explored account and campaign management, she craves the thrill of marketing in a corporate space, and getting the opportunity to let creativity run free.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The first thing that gets me up in the morning is my alarm clock haha, but I love waking up to a new day, with new opportunities and seeking ways to learn more and better myself.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Definitely flying, I would love to not use uber every day!
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
I would be a dolphin. I think they are such cute and friendly animals, and would love to float around in the water all day!
If you could time travel, where would you go and why?
I would definitely go home with my family as a little girl and just cherish those precious moments together.
What are the top 3 countries on your bucket list to visit?
Amsterdam, London and New York.
If someone made a movie of your life what would the genre be?
Definitely a rom-com, imagine Prince Charming coming for me on his white horse, and some chocolate when I’m sad? I’m sold!
What would the title of your autobiography be?
The Adventures of Kimmy.
If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be and why?
The queen B, Beyonce! It would be a dream to dance and sing with her, she’s such a powerhouse!
What is your favorite jam at the moment?
Motivation – Normani.
What, in your opinion, is the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your CV alone?
I like to sing when I’m nervous, so before a job interview, I would literally hum a song to calm myself down.
You step outside your house and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning R10 million. What would you do with it?
I would send my mother half of the money, invest some, travel and definitely, definitely buy myself a car. 😀

He says “Buenas noches” because he is Mexican and clearly wants to say what’s up…
